They’re fun, fruity, and tantalizingly tropical.  Like most mixed drinks, they’re easy to make and usually require few ingredients. And you can make them as sweet, tart, strong, or light as you like. Many of these cocktails have rum as a base because there’s just something about rum and mangoes that complement one another.  However, if rum isn’t your drink of choice, you should still be able to find at least a couple of mango cocktails that work for you.  After all, you have 17 from which to choose!

15+ Delicious Mango Cocktail Recipes

1. Mango Passion Fruit Rum Cocktail

The mango passion fruit rum cocktail may look like a gorgeous desert sunrise, but its tropical flavor will transport you to a lush island paradise with just one sip.  It’s icy, slushy, and tastes like your favorite sweet and sour candy from your childhood. On a scale from one to five, its potency is only at about a two, but you can always add more rum.  Just be careful with this one; it tastes so good that you’ll want to slurp it down, but it can give you insane brain freeze if you do.

2. Mango Rum Cooler

This frosty, slushy drink requires only five ingredients and 5 minutes of your time. Toss your orange juice, chopped mango, light rum, and ice in the blender, and let it do its thing. Add some mint sprigs for a nice garnish, and enjoy these on the hottest days of the year. They’ll cool you down quickly enough.

3. Peach Mango Sangria

If you like anything with the word ‘sangria’ in it, then this light, peachy drink will be no exception. You’ll start with a base of white wine.  Then, you’ll add vodka, mango rum, peach nectar, mango nectar, lemon-lime soda, and fresh peaches and mangoes.  This drink is strong, and you will taste the alcohol in it. Still, if you’re not big on tasting your alcohol, don’t worry. The robust peachy flavor balances out any bitterness the alcohol might bring.

4. Cherry Mango Mojito

A striking burgundy red on the bottom and an icy white on top, the cherry mango mojito looks every bit as good as it tastes, especially once you add the bright green mint leaves for contrast. You’ll only need six ingredients to make it, and it shouldn’t take more than 3 minutes. Plus, it’s sharply tart and tangy and will quickly get your tastebuds hopping.

5. Spicy Mango Margarita

I don’t always like spicy and tangy together, but somehow, that combination just works in this 5-minute drink.  If you like jams and jellies with jalapenos in the mix, you’ll love this cocktail. All you’ll need to make it is salt, chili powder, mangoes, limes, jalapeno slices, ice, tequila, and mango juice.  It’s delightfully tangy and fruity, but the heat creeps up on you, too.

6. Mango Pineapple Punch

If you’re looking for something totally tropical, it’s hard to beat the mango pineapple punch. Plus, it tastes just as good with or without the alcohol.  It’s sweetly tart, refreshing, and packs a wallop of a pineapple punch. And like most cocktails on the list, it takes only 5 minutes to make.

7. Orange Mango Mimosa

Mimosas are so elegant, and there’s nothing better if you’re looking for a light brunch cocktail. To make this one, you’ll need champagne, orange mango cascade ice, orange juice, and oranges. The drinks are light – both in taste and potency – beautifully bright, and just a little bit bubbly. You’ll love the taste and the way they turn the heads of everyone who walks by you.

8. Coconut Mango Mojitos

Most mojitos taste like mojitos, no matter what else you add to them. This one is the same, but you’ll also really taste the coconut in it.  Still, it’s fresh and refreshing, just as a mojito should be.

9. Boozy Mango and Kaffir Lime Lassi

Unless you’re familiar with Indian drinks, you may never have tried a lassi. Now is as good a time as any to rectify that because these sweet, creamy drinks are delicious.  Typically, you’ll make them yogurt, fruit, and aromatic spices. You’ll add all of that and more to this boozy mango lassi.  The rum gives the whole thing a vanilla-caramel-like flavor, and the lime adds just a hint of zest so that it isn’t overly sweet.

10. Mango Gin Collins

All you’ll need to pull together this 5-minute, orange-yellow drink is gin, mango juice, lemon juice, lemon bitters, soda water, lemon slices, and dried mango.  It tastes a lot like tart lemonade with a spiked mango twist. It’ll cool down your body and warm up your tummy all at the same time.

11. Frozen Strawberry Mango Daiquiri Recipe

This lovely two-toned drink mixes fresh strawberries and mangoes, lime juice, orange juice, rum, and crushed ice. It has a stunning summer appearance and tastes sweet and citrusy. The best part about this drink is its natural fruity flavor; it doesn’t taste sugary or artificial. If you like cocktails that are clean, cool, and refreshing, this is the one for you.

12. Mango Sorbet Bellini

First of all, these drinks taste phenomenal.  Second of all, they look fantastic! I mean, seriously! Who thought adding a scoop of mango sorbet to Prosecco could be something?  Pop a strawberry slice on top of each one, and you’ll have a drink that’s delicate and elegant enough for any wedding table. Plus, you know… SORBET!

13. Boozy Mango Lemonade

The trick to making this boozy drink so good is to use fresh lemonade (five cups of water, a half cup of freshly squeezed lemon juice, and three-fourths cup of sugar) instead of the instant stuff. You’ll still get the sour, lemon-and-mango flavor if you go with Crystal Light powder, but the overall taste just isn’t the same. Trust me on this one; fresh lemonade is the only way to go.  It’ll make your nose crinkle and your mouth pucker, but you’ll love every last sip.

14. Mango Tequila Sunrise

Bring home a little taste of the Caribbean with this mango and tequila cocktail. All you’ll need to make it is tequila, orange-mango juice, grenadine, ice, and your chosen garnishes.  You can whip it up in about 2 minutes, and you’ll love its multi-hued sunrise appearance.  The tequila taste is hard to mask, so you’ll get a hint of it now and again. However, that doesn’t take away from the yumminess at all.

15. Mango Colada

I’m a sucker for a good pina colada, but mango coladas are even better. They are so fresh and fruity, and the pineapple and coconut pair exquisitely with the mango and lime.  The rum adds a rich sweetness, almost toffee-like, along with the other ingredients. It’s a hard drink to describe, but it’s easy to knock back and enjoy.

16. Hawaiian Maui Mango Rum Cocktail

If you prefer your mixed drinks more bittersweet, this one will make you very happy.  You’ll combine white rum, simple syrup, fresh mango juice, pineapple juice, and freshly squeezed lime. Then, you’ll pour it all over ice for a chilled treat that you just can’t beat.

17. Strawberry Mango Bourbon Smash

Want to know why they call this drink a bourbon smash? Because of how smashed you’ll get if you drink more than two!  I’m joking, of course. I’m not sure why this drink is called a bourbon smash, but whatever the reason, my explanation makes perfect sense.  This sweet, tart drink is deceptively strong. Underneath the intense flavor of the mulled strawberries and the light hint of mango, there’s an ample portion of bourbon.  So watch yourself because it hits fast. Click on a star to rate it!
