I have been making recipes with Weight Watchers two ingredient dough for over a year now. Even when I’m not on a Weight Watchers plan, this simple dough can be used for several delicious recipes. And this dough just makes the best homemade bagels. I love that I can make them just like my favorite traditional bagels, with my favorite toppings. I add toppings such as , Everything but the Bagel Seasoning, sesame seeds, and poppy seeds. For a completely different style bagel, you can add cheddar cheese, or make pizza bagels. The prep time for making these bagels can be shortened by making the dough in advance, and keeping it wrapped and stored for up to two days.
What you need to make Two Ingredient Bagels in the Air Fryer
I make these bagels in my Cosori 5.8 quart air fryer. The entire batch fits perfectly in the air fryer basket. To make this bagel dough, all you need is:
1 cup Self Rising Flour1 cup Non-Fat Greek YogurtEgg, for wash
Bagel Toppings are optional, but I made mine with Everything but the Bagel Seasoning and they were delish! The bagel variety possibilities are endless!
How to Make Air Fryer Bagels
To make this bagel recipe, in a mixing bowl, combine one cup of self rising-flour and yogurt into a medium bowl. Stir them together with a rubber spatula or wooden spoon until it begins to thicken and forms a ball of dough. Place the dough onto a well floured surface and cut into 4 or 6 even pieces of dough. I use a little extra flour on the table so the dough doesn’t stick. Turn the dough into bagels, by rolling each wedge into a small rope, about 6-8 inches in length. Connect the ends of each piece, into a bagel shape circle. Whisk the egg in a small bowl, and then using a pastry brush, brush bagels with the egg wash. Sprinkle any toppings onto the bagels before you cook them. Next, place the bagels into the air fryer basket. Besides a thermometer, one of my highest recommended products for air fryers is air fryer parchment sheets. They make for an easier clean up. If you don’t use liners, use an air fryer safe cooking spray, to prevent sticking. Air fry the bagels at 350 degrees Fahrenheit and cook for about 10 minutes. The bagels will begin to turn golden brown when they are done. Cooking times may vary. CLICK HERE to grab the BEGINNERS BOOK of recipes for the Air Fryer!! Sift the ingredients together.
